L!FE programs empower middle and high school students with the training, skills and real work experience in their community today, to position them to be leaders in their community tomorrow. L!FE trains and supports students throughout each phase of programming, teaching them to find their voice to articulate personal and community goals, and paths to achievement. Programming is focused on where they and their community are today, and where they are headed in the future, to elevate and empower individual and community goals. Training includes public speaking, business skills (marketing, branding, practical financial acumen, networking, relationship building, business etiquette, and more), and working with community and business initiatives. Excellence Corps of Detroit Completes a Successful Launch
Summer 2018 we launched Excellence Corps of Detroit Summer Intensive 2018! Partnering with Cass Technical High School, UAW-Ford, Strategic Staffing Solutions, Grow Detroit's Young Talent, Detroit Public School Community District and Tindal Activity Center, we brought together young people from across Detroit to immerse them in the city's growth and get actively involved in their community using the skills of entrepreneur-ism.
